Modeling the Transitional Organization
Let’s imagine you want to start a company. You could buy a foosball
table and a small bouncy castle and start hiring a bunch of recent
university graduates. But this only works like 1 out of 10 times,
probably even 1 out of 100 times. So, let’s try something else instead.
Build a transitional model of your future organization. Distill it into a
logical model. Your organization structure will be an implementation of
this model. Finally, the teams of your organization will produce data
that will be stored in a Data Vault also based on this model. So, your
whole company would be not only model-driven, your company would
be the model. Sounds interesting?
Find out how this can work in practice at the next Rotterdam Data
Engineering meetup with German data modeler Christian Kaul!
How could this work in practice?
In this meetup we will collaborate on finding answers.
