About

At PostNL, but also in my former jobs at Coolblue, Jumbo, KPN, Wehkamp and TomTom I have learned a lot about changing and scaling organisations, about both server-side and embedded software, quality assurance, DevOps, distributed teams and (Cloud)infrastructure. Our goal has always been to innovate faster so that we can support the strategy of the company better. I love to share that knowledge, to help and to learn.
After 25 year working in IT, of which 15 years as leader of IT departments, I want to make it my job to do so. I am writing, coaching and doing interim work in which I try to share as much experience as I have.

I am also in the Supervisory Board of the WWF Netherlands (WNF / Wereld Natuur Fonds). Our mission at WWF is to stop the degradation of the planet's natural environment and to build a future in which humans live in harmony. And I am a member of the Supervisory Board of BrandMR, a company that wants to make legal help more accessible.

    I was on the city council of Delft for the Student Party STIP (Studenten Techniek In Politiek). I was one of the founders of this political party in 1994, we got elected in the same year in Delft. I was the second member to take a seat in the town hall.

    Lime Green Drops is an online tool & an iOS app we developed to help teams to reach goals quicker. Lime Green Drops makes it easy to share goals, chat about them and measure the results. For people who want to use the OGSM method to set their goals we have made a separate app on iOS.
